The Joint Microbiome Facility (JMF) offers researchers interested in clinically-relevant and environmental microbiome research support during all stages of DNA and RNA sequencing based microbiome research – from experimental design, over sample processing to data analysis.

The high-throughput sequencing services currently available at the JMF include:

• Illumina MiSeq-based highly multiplexed gene amplicon sequencing (e.g., 16S rRNA genes, 18S RNA genes, ITS region).
• Microbial isolate genome sequencing.
• (Meta-)genome and (meta-)transcriptome sequencing.
• Oxford Nanopore technologies (long read sequencing)
